A few weeks ago I did a catalogue shoot with clothing from Boo. Merino featuring eight children aged from 3-11 – chaotic but a lot of fun! I first met Amanda Petrillo of Boo. Merino at an expo organised by Joy Foster of Living in Luzern – for those who live in and around Lucerne check out Joy’s fantastic website here.
Boo. Merino clothing is made only with 100% pure New Zealand merino. The new collection here of leggings, hats, neck tubes and baby swaddle blankets plus 2 new stripes were launched this month. Boo. Merino emphasises simple, comfortable design in gorgeous natural colours – timeless and beautiful children’s clothes that cocoon young skin to keep warm and cosy. Merino naturally regulates the temperature of the body, as the wool breathes. Merino keeps you insulated and warm when outside and when you come inside it breathes and keeps you cool, therefore no sweating! Because of the superfine material it is great to wear next to the skin as a thermal layer or can be worn as an extra layer. It is a great fabric for babies to avoid overheating due to its breathing qualities.
Boo. Merino’s beautiful colours can be worn with a pair of jeans, a ballet skirt and wellington boots for playing outside in the autumn leaves or as a thermal top next to the skin for hours outside on the ski slopes or for walks in the forest.
