Newborn shoot with Baby Maddox

A few weeks ago, I went along to Zurich to meet 8 day old baby Maddox.  His parents had been to the studio previously for a pregnancy shoot and you can see some of their images here.  Maddox was the perfect model and slept through most of our shoot waking up for a feed and then letting us continue with the shoot. The best time for a newborn shoot for images such as these is up to two weeks after the birth – up until then the baby is still sleeping most of the time and this makes it easier to move hands and feet into place. These shoots can be done at the studio or at your home and normally take 2-2.5 hours as we work around the baby’s schedule. If you would like to discuss further, please do not hesitate to contact me – as we know, babies don’t always arrive on their due date so it’s good to have a provisional booking in with me and I can then be flexible if your baby does arrive early.
